Paro M. Astourian practices in the areas of business law and civil litigation. Focusing on litigating business, real property, construction, employment and personal injury cases in State and Federal Courts. He has been a practicing lawyer for over seventeen years and has a background as an active litigator and consultant in Europe and the Middle East. He is particularly interested in legal matters concerning the Middle East and International law. His practice is based in Los Angeles, California but he travels on regular basis to the Middle East.
Paro is actively involved in both international transactions and disputes. For more than seventeen years we have been handling transnational and international matters, mostly with parties and issues involving the Middle East and Asia.
Paro’s practice focuses principally on US civil litigation in state and federal courts, as well as before various governmental agencies. He has significant experience representing businesses and businesspeople in diverse local and international business disputes. The litigation cases Paro has handled involved complex procedural issues which required not only a knowledge of the law that governs the dispute, but also the law governing the procedures to be followed in order to properly litigate the claim.
Paro also assists clients with negotiating, drafting, executing, and implementing a wide array of contracts involving real estate, businesses, personal property, and intellectual property. He also assists those clients in the selection and formation of legal business entities in the Middle East and California. Taxation is an area in which Paro practices in association with a certified public accountant who has substantial experience in various tax issues and tax controversy matters.
Paro represents clients seeking immigration to the United States through business visas or family based petitions. He represents both business entities seeking visas for employees as well as foreign investors seeking to obtain a business visa in the United States in order to start and operate businesses locally. He also assists qualified permanent residents (Green Card holders) with obtaining United States citizenship.
